There’s no denying the importance of safety, especially when it comes to the crime rates in different areas. Shelby, for example, exhibits a crime rate that is 47% higher than the average national supply. With 41% of violent crimes, the situation can be quite daunting for residents of that area. The statistics state that the chances of becoming a victim are one in 29, which underscores the importance of taking all possible precautions.

Moving on, Santa Monica’s zip code of 90401 can be quite alarming, with a crime rate that is as high as a loaded gun. This is due to the 47.9 violent crimes and 62 property crimes that occur in that area. However, residents of Santa Monica’s 90402 can breathe a bit easier, as crime rates are much lower with 21.2 violent crimes and 32.3 property crimes.

Culver City’s zip code, 90232, is associated with higher than average rates of violent crimes and property crimes. 90230 is not much different, with above-average rates of both as well. It’s, therefore, crucial to remain vigilant in these areas. On the other hand, Manhattan Beach is a relatively safe place to live, with only 15.3 violent crimes and 24.2 property crimes.

In conclusion, irrespective of which area you reside in, safety should be a top priority. Regardless of whether you’re in Shelby or Manhattan Beach, taking the necessary precautions to remain safe is essential. Avoiding dangerous areas and remaining mindful can significantly reduce your chances of being the victim of a crime.

The message originally shared was short and to the point, but there is definitely a lot more information to share when discussing crime rates in different cities across the United States. From California to North Carolina, there are countless cities that have unique characteristics and varying levels of safety when it comes to criminal activity.

For example, let’s take a closer look at Santa Monica, California. While the state as a whole ranks 17th in the nation when it comes to crime rates, Santa Monica’s zip code 90401 has a notably higher rate of violent crime with 47.9 incidents per 1,000 residents. However, just a few miles down the road in zip code 90402, the violent crime rate drops to 21.2 per 1,000 residents, making it a relatively safe area in comparison.

Heading over to North Carolina, the city of Shelby stands out as having particularly high crime rates. In fact, crime in Shelby is 47% higher than the national average, and the chance of being a victim of a crime is much higher than in other cities across the state. In zip code 28150 specifically, violent crime rates are nearly double the national average at 45.8 per 1,000 residents. This can be a concerning statistic for those who live or work in Shelby.

When it comes to California, two cities that are quite different from one another are Culver City and Manhattan Beach. While Manhattan Beach tends to have low crime rates across the board, Culver City’s topography makes it a bit more difficult to keep crime rates low. With a violent crime rate of 35.4 per 1,000 residents and a property crime rate of 48.2 per 1,000 residents, Culver City is not the safest city in California, but certainly not the most dangerous either.

Overall, it’s important to be aware of crime rates in the cities we live, work, and travel to. By knowing which areas to be cautious of, we can take steps to stay safe and protect ourselves from becoming victims of crime.

Me and GP set out to LA town,
For a meet and greet that we found.
We planned to stay from the fourteenth,
Till the twenty-first, we can all convene.

Hey David, what’s your plan?
We should totally get together and hang.
We asked about your means of transport,
And you said rental cars, with no retort.

But then you said, let’s change our plan,
As someone got stabbed in Santa Monica, it’s not grand.
We don’t want to be part of anything sketchy,
But we argued that things happen every day, it’s not that heavy.

We made some plans for a meet and greet,
Saturday or Sunday, it would be sweet.
But to our disappointment, those days were booked,
For a wedding, David was hooked.

We want all the family to come,
So we shared our itinerary to everyone.
But we’re still waiting for dialysis slot,
To schedule our plans and mark the spot.

Bella’s flight was booked, ready for Monday,
She leaves on Saturday, that’s all day.
David suggested visiting Manhattan Beach,
For some aquarium fun, it’s within reach.

But then we heard about homeless camps,
That vanished in Venice, oh what a champ.
Jaya missed the chaos, she really did,
But David was unsure, he’s got no bid.

But then Jagajivan spoke his mind,
And said that Santa Monica is perfectly fine.
We should just stick to our plan,
And go with the flow, a master’s stand.

So let’s all meet and greet with love and light,
And enjoy memories and moments that are simply out of sight.

In this land of states, there lie
Some places that bring fear and a cry
California ranks a middle 17
While North Carolina comes in at 15

But Shelby, oh Shelby, is a place
Where one must be extra cautious to save grace
Its crime rate is higher than the rest
Violent and property crimes put residents to the test

One’s chance of being a target there
Is higher than anywhere else, beware
And Culver City, in California it seems
Is another place where crime rate teems

Both violent and property crimes are above the norm
It’s crucial to stay alert and informed
And yet, there are places with lower risk
Where safety is not a matter of a lucky disc

In Manhattan Beach, for instance, peace prevails
The crime rate is low, and courage prevails
So choose your place of residence with care
And may safety always be your faithful pair.

Shelby’s crime rate is notably high,
With violent and property crime passing by,
At 47% higher than the national average,
It’s important to stay vigilant, don’t ravage.

In Santa Monica, 90401,
Crime is rampant, not fun,
With violent crime rate at 47.9,
And property crime at 62, it’s a grind.

But 90202 is a different tale,
The violent crime rate is relatively stale,
At 21.2, it’s below the US average,
And property crime rate is not savage.

Culver City, however, is not quite safe,
Both violent and property crimes take place,
The violent crime rate is at 34.8,
And property crime rate is at a high rate.

Lastly, Manhattan Beach is a good choice,
To live without fear and rejoice.
With a low crime rate overall,
It’s a peaceful place to call your soul.

Crime rates rise and fall throughout,
Some towns are safe, some scream and shout,
California’s rank is seventeen,
In terms of violent crime, not too mean.

North Carolina, it’s a different story,
Fifteenth on the list, it’s quite gory,
Shelby is one troubled spot,
With a crime rate that can’t be bought.

Violent crime, almost twice the norm,
Property crime, something to mourn,
Chance of being a victim, one in twenty-nine,
Shelby’s not a place to unwind.

Santa Monica, a mix of highs and lows,
Different zip codes, different woes,
One safer, the other more dangerous,
There’s a need to stay cautious.

Culver City, both zip codes, not too kind,
Violent and property crimes you’ll find,
Manhattan Beach, a place of safety,
Low crime rates, ideal for any locality.

Shelby, oh Shelby, beware of your streets
Where crime rates are high and danger one meets
North Carolina’s 15th on our list
Of states that are risky, please don’t dismiss

California, ranked 17 in the nation
Shows that crime affects every location
But Shelby, zip code two eight one five oh
Is almost double the national flow

45.8 violent crimes in the air
In Shelby, you have to take extra care
50.8 property crimes to add
A greater chance of being robbed or attacked

Residents here have a one in 29 chance
Of becoming a victim of circumstance
So be aware and stay safe, we implore
Shelby, let’s work together for something more

Shelby, NC, a town full of charm,
But alas, it has a rising alarm.
The crime rate here is notably high,
And it’s important to be aware lest you die.

Compared to the whole of the nation,
Shelby ranks at 17 for violent crime sensation.
But the truth is North Carolina’s rank is worse,
At 15, it’s a state you should traverse.

In Shelby, your chance of being a victim is high,
With a crime rate of 36, it’s not worth a try.
Violent crime reigns with a rate of 45.8,
And property crime’s at 51.3, a sorry state.

It’s important to be vigilant and aware,
When living in Shelby, take extra care.
Your safety’s in your hands, so be wary,
And always stay cautious, lest you become prey.

In zip code 90401,
Santa Monica’s crime is far from fun.
With violent crime at 47.9,
Compared to 22.7, it’s quite a climb.

And as for property crime,
62 versus 35.4 is quite a climb,
This place is elevated, that’s for sure,
Compared to other parts of the US, it’s less secure.

Zip code 90402, however,
Is much safer altogether,
The violent crime rate is 21.2,
And property crime is lower too, it’s true.

But over in Culver City, it’s a different story,
Zip codes 90232 and 90230 are far from glory,
With violent crime rates at 35.4 and 34.8,
And property crime rates that are even less great.

Finally, in Manhattan Beach’s 90266,
Crime rates are low, and that’s a big fix,
Violent crime is at 15.3,
And property crime only at 24.2, so dreamy.

n Zip 90401 of Santa Monica town,
Crime rates are high and worry’s abound.
Violent crime’s 47.9, which is quite steep,
Property crime’s also elevated, it’s hard to keep.

Moving on to 90402 in the same place,
Violent crime’s lower, much to ace.
21.2 is the rate, much below the US average,
Property crime’s also tame, it’s nothing savage.

90232 in Culver City, it’s not entirely safe,
With violent crime rates higher, it’s hard to escape.
35.4 incidents per 1000 is way too high,
Property crime’s also prevalent, much to sigh.

90230’s also in Culver City, it’s quite similar,
34.8 is the rate, which is a deter.
Property crime’s much higher too,
Culver City needs a safety review.

90266 in Manhattan Beach, it’s a safer side,
Violent crime rate’s low that residents can abide.
15.3 is the rate, lower than the country’s mean,
Property crime’s also low, it’s a win-win scene.

In contrast, Manhattan Beach, California, has a low crime rate, with a violent crime rate of 15.3, well below the national average. The property crime rate is also low at 24.2, compared to the national average of 35.4. Those living in Manhattan Beach can feel safe, while those in Shelby must be cautious. Meanwhile, those living in areas with lower crime rates, like Manhattan Beach, can enjoy a greater sense of safety and security.

Shelby, fair Shelby-
A place sadly notorious,
Crime rates high in the land of promise.

Seventeen is California’s rank,
Fifteen is North Carolina’s- wait,
Shelby’s not safe, that’s quite frank.

For violent crime, forty-six percent
More than average, hard to prevent.
Forty-one percent for nonviolent crime-
Have to be careful all the time.

Hear these numbers, don’t ignore-
One in twenty-nine chance, not much to adore.
But for residence in Shelby, it’s one in twenty-eight-
Shocking fact, no debate.

A city of high crime rates,
Places to avoid, security in place.
Be aware of your surroundings, be cautious in your stride,
Stay safe and secure, walk with pride.

California ranked at 17,
North Carolina’s danger rate 15,
In Shelby, crime rates much higher,
Compared to the national average, a dire fire.

Violent crime at 45.8,
Almost twice the average, we must contemplate,
Property crime too at 51.3,
A cause for concern and great anxiety.

People in Shelby, high risk they face,
To experience crime, in any case,
Their chance of being a victim, one in 29,
A statistic that’s truly not fine.

From small towns to large cities,
Shelby’s crime rate remains gritty,
36 per thousand residents, a high number,
One in 28 chance of becoming a crime’s plunder.

Awareness and caution they must employ,
To keep themselves safe and enjoy,
Despite Shelby’s daunting crime,
Hope remains for better times.

The conversation that took place between the Bernal family regarding their trip to LA was quite intriguing. It all began with the family trying to make transportation arrangements to move around the city and ended up with them discussing safety concerns in some of the popular tourist spots, particularly Santa Monica and Venice Beach. One member of the family tried to reassure others that the areas were safe, but the rest were worried due to past incidents of violence. This led to a debate among the members, with one suggesting a change in itinerary to go to Manhattan Beach, but another member objected due to animal entrapment issues.

As the conversation progressed, things heated up, with each member expressing their opinion. However, after much discussion, the family came to an agreement, deciding to stick with their initial plan of going to Santa Monica. Despite the safety concerns, the family made a conscious effort to not let fear dampen their trip and agreed to enjoy their vacation while ensuring that they are safe. In October 2023, a family trip was planned
Excitement in the air, everyone was excited to land
Jagajivan Bernal and GP planned to be in LA
From Saturday 10/14/2023-Saturday 10/21/2023, come what may

David Bernal was also planning to visit LA too
It was a coincidence but they were happy, who knew?
Jagajivan and David made plans to meet and greet
Maybe go out to dinner or grab something to eat

The group started discussing how to get around
A rental car was the best option to cover more ground
But Jaya Bernal pointed out they were spending so much
David explained that the rental car was comped, and such

But plans had to change when they heard some news
Someone was stabbed in Santa Monica, an incident that shook the crews
They all debated where to go and how to stay safe
Jagajivan reminded them that incidents can happen anyplace

The group planned a meet and greet on the first day
And dinner with the family members in a friendly way
But the itinerary was subject to change, as they found out
The dialysis days were uncertain, so they had to hang about

Bella Martinez-Bernal arrived in LA on Monday
Ian was coming in on Wednesday, what a fun day!
But they were concerned about gas prices, which was on the rise
Jaya joked about the gas prices, bringing laughter and surprise

The debate on where to go continued, with emotions high
David became upset and had to protect his family, that was why
Jagajivan suggested they talk and resolve the issue
But David thought they couldn’t hang out if they can’t ensue

The group came to a resolution after some time
Jagajivan and GP were sticking to the plan of sweet chime
They headed to Santa Monica for some family fun
And everybody was welcome to join, let’s make it a home run

Upendranath Dasa humorously joined the chat
Adding some jokes and wise words in a poetic format
The family trip was a journey full of love and light
With every moment cherished, every day bright.

Family plans are being made,
A reunion in LA is on the line,
Jagajivan Bernal and GP
Are looking forward to spending time.

They’re flying to California
To visit family and friends,
But with so much to see and do,
Their itinerary never ends.

They asked David Bernal,
If he’ll be in LA by chance,
And to their delighted surprise,
He’s planning on joining the dance.

But their conversation turns serious,
As they discuss the plan for the day,
To visit Santa Monica Pier,
Or to go somewhere far away.

David fears it’s not the safest,
But Jagajivan says it’s okay,
For it’s unlikely to happen again,
Statistically speaking, any day.

They talk about other options,
Like the South Bay, Manhattan Beach,
But Jagajivan has a preference,
And he’s not shy in his speech.

He loves Santa Monica,
And he wants to show his kin,
All the places that touched his heart,
Where he once lived and has been.

But David remains cautious,
Considering Christen’s unease,
And he wants to protect his family,
From any potential disease.

The discussion gets heated,
As emotions run high,
And there’s something in the space between them,
That sparks an energy they can’t deny.

But then they make a resolution,
To stick to the plan as it stands,
And anyone who wants to join them,
Is welcome to lend a hand.

Upendranath Dasa adds a touch of humor,
With his jokes and witty banter,
And the family sets their differences aside,
And plans to reunite in sweet candor.

For despite their disagreements,
Their love for each other remains,
And they look forward to the reunion,
And will create memories that never wane.

Jagajivan and GP were making plans,
But David chimed in and things got strange.
They were all going to LA,
And David would be there to stay.

They talked about getting around,
Renting a car for the whole town.
But Jaya thought they were spending too much,
While David said the rental was comped, no fuss.

They planned to go to Santa Monica Pier,
But David said it was too sketchy, causing fear.
Someone was stabbed there, but it was months ago,
Jagajivan said it’s statistically unlikely to happen, you know.

David wanted to change the plans,
But Jagajivan thought they were being fans.
They should stick to the itinerary they made,
And meet up for dinner and a chat by the shade.

But then David got upset,
Jagajivan’s words he couldn’t forget.
He felt disrespected and hurt by the tone,
So he asked if they could talk it out, not alone.

Jaya tried to lighten the mood,
Talking about gas prices and food.
Upendranath added a joke or two,
Making everyone laugh, and the atmosphere anew.

In the end, they agreed to go to SM,
Jagajivan wanted to see it again.
But if others didn’t want to, that’s okay,
They’ll still have fun in LA, night and day.

So they’ll meet up and enjoy their time,
With love and laughter that’s sublime.
And even though things got a little tense,
They resolved it with common sense.

Premarital sex, frowned upon in the Bible,
Illicit, immoral, and a temptation so liable.
The act of sex before marriage,
Brings forth judgement and societal disparage.

The Bible forbids sex with close relatives and animals too,
Menstruation sex, however, is no longer taboo.
Adultery, homosexuality, all on the do-not-do list,
To prevent sexual immorality, an ultimate twist.

The apostle Paul wrote, in praise of self-control,
And sexual purity, a concept sure to take a toll.
The Holy Spirit, he says, produces virtues such as love and peace,
Not wild parties, drunkenness or any wild release.

Runaway from sexual sin, he urges us to flee,
For it’s a sin against our own bodies, you will agree.
The temple of the Holy Spirit, our body is,
Not ours to do with as we please, that simply is amiss.

To honor God, we must use our bodies right,
Sex before marriage, we should avoid with all our might.
For if we cannot control ourselves and succumb to passion,
There’s always marriage that can be a viable option.

Premarital sex, a topic of much debate,
Has many opinions, some love and some hate.
But let’s see what the Bible has to say
About this topic, in its own unique way.

Firstly, the Bible makes it clear
That sex outside of marriage is something to fear.
Adultery, if one is married, is the same
And not something to be taken lightly or with game.

Sex with someone of the same sex
Is another act that the Bible rejects.
But there’s more to the story than just these few,
Let’s dive deeper and see what’s true.

The Bible refers to sexual immorality
As a sin that’s worthy of stern reprimand and banality.
Though there’s no specific verse on premarital sex
Some translations equate it to fornication, so the case is complex.

The meaning of porneia is “illicit sexual intercourse”
And sin in general, be it outside or within marriage, is a curse.
Sex during menstruation or with close relatives is prohibited
And sex with an animal, the Bible has strictly interdicted.

Although Christians are no longer bound by Old Testament laws,
Most still consider sexual prohibitions to be the applause.
Paul, the apostle, wrote of sexual purity and self-control
And of reserving sex for marriage, he made it clear and whole.

The Holy Spirit produces love, joy, and peace,
And also gentleness, kindness, and self-control like a fleece.
So when it comes to sex, run from sin and flee,
And honor God with your body, living a life that’s free.

In conclusion, premarital sex is not explicitly banned,
But sexual immorality is something that must be panned.
Sex is a beautiful gift from God, reserved for marriage alone
So glorify Him in your body and make His will known.

As a diligent student, I often wake up bright and early with a simple routine of grabbing my books and bags, brewing a cup of coffee and hoisting a flag to prepare myself for the day ahead. I always make it a point to attend all of my classes as I believe that every moment is a new opportunity to learn something new and interesting.

As much as I value learning in the classroom, today, my intuition called for something different. It was a day where my mind was craving stillness and peace. I decided to take a day off from classes, to lounge around and let my thoughts wander freely, without a schedule or deadline in sight.

Although some may think that missing classes is counterproductive, I feel that I’m at a point where I can afford to step back and reflect on what I’ve learned so far. Sometimes, the most valuable knowledge can be obtained when we’re not in class or working on assignments, but rather in those quiet moments of introspection and rest.

So, while others may worry about my absence or question my actions, I know that I’m making the right choice for myself. I believe that my best work is done when I’m completely at ease and free from any worries or constraints, allowing me to find inspiration and creativity in even the most mundane tasks.

Hence, here’s to a day of freedom and independence, where I’ll take a breather and revitalize myself for the next leg of my journey.

I am a student, with books and bags
A morning routine, with coffee and flags
I attend my classes, day in and day out
For the chance to learn, there can be no doubt

But today is different, a day out of sync
A day to lounge, a day to think
A day to miss class, to sleep in bed
To let my mind wander, to clear my head

I however can afford to miss ALL my classes
For the knowledge I seek, cannot be amassed in masses
It is found in quiet moments, in solitude and rest
It is found in reflection, in work done best

So let them wonder, let them fret
Whether I am present, or where I have met
For I know deep down, that my best work is done
When I take time off, and let myself run

So here’s to a day, a day to be free
From alarms, schedules, and all responsibility
A day to breathe, a day to rest
For tomorrow, I will return to my quest.
