“What is Prayojana-Tattva?”
The jiva’s ultimate goal, known as prayojana-tattva, is Krishna-prema. When one practices sadhana constantly, bhava eventually manifests, and when bhava is fully developed and complete, it is called prema. Prema is the eternal function of the jiva, his eternal wealth, and his eternal goal. Only in the absence of prema does the jiva undergo various sufferings in material entanglement.
